Car Fire in Willistown Acres

At 1503 hours, Malvern was alerted to a vehicle fire in the unit block of Eisenhower Dr. in Willistown Acres. Chief 4 arrived to find a vehicle on fire next to a garage and house and requested a tanker. Engine 4 arrived and deployed a handline, while Paoli Engine 3-5 assisted Malvern crews. The fire had begun to melt the garage, but crews successfully kept it from extending beyond the exterior. The fire was placed under control, and a fire marshal was requested.
