At 0318 hours Malvern along with area mutual aide was dispatched to 1103 Charleston Greene for the structure fire. Chief 4 arrived on location to find smoke showing and PD advised that they used a fire extinguisher to knock the fire down. Deputy 4, Engine 5, and Ladder 4 arrived and crews found the kitchen fire knocked. Crews secured utilities and checked for extension. The incident was scaled back to 4 and 5. Once all smoke was removed from the residence, crews were restored and command cleared all remaining units.
