Close Call in Willistown

Station 4 along with our mutual aid partners from (2,3,5, and 54) were dispatched to 134 Jaffrey Rd. in Willistown for a house fire. Reports were given by the Chester County Fire Board of a fire in the garage. PD arrived with a fire showing in the garage. Captain 4A arrived to find the contents and the steps of the garage on fire.
Engine 4 arrived and utilized the booster line to extinguish the contents that were on fire. Additional units arrived and assisted with debris removal and checking for extension. Units cleared with no further damage. Please remember to properly dispose of your fireplace embers.
