At 11:23 hrs Station 4 was dispatched to Sugartown Road north of Goshen Road in Willistown Township for a truck on fire. Initial reports indicated that it was a Ryder truck and that there were flames from under the cab.

Tac 4, Engine 4-5 and Assistant Chief 4 (K. Vaughn) arrived and determined there to be a fire behind the dashboard. Crews placed a 1 3/4" line in service to ensure the fire was fully extinguished. Sugartown Road was closed during fire fighting activies.

The fire was quickly placed under control with the final fire units clearing the scene at 12:00 hrs.
