Protecting and taking care of our own is a cornerstone of the fire service. Saturday, we were able to do just that thanks to tremendous support from our community. Even mother nature was on board with fantastic weather.

Proceeds from the block party and beef & beer will benefit Life Member, President and Past Chief Paul Wilkins. Over the past 37 years, Paul has not wavered in his service to our community so it was only fitting that the community came together to support Paul Saturday.

Over 50 local businesses and organizations contributed by donating services and materials to help make this event possible. The members of the fire company as well as community volunteers worked tirelessly together to plan for, prepare for and pull off a very successful event.

From the bottom of our hearts, we say THANK YOU to everyone who helped support, plan, work or attend the events Saturday. Each of you played an important role in raising funds to help Paul and his family offset medical expenses. We are truly grateful for all of the support we received that we are in turn able to pass along to Paul.
