Roof Collapse Injures Two in Dovecote
By MFC Watch Desk
April 9, 2015
On April 9th, 2015 at 2:32 PM Malvern Fire and EMS units were dispatched to the Dovecote Development for a roof collapse with two injured subjects. Chief 4 (N. Vaughn) was the first to arrive to find two subjects lying on the ground with serious injuries and established Dovecote Command. Goshen Fire Company was requested for an Ambulance to transport the second patient. All EMS units and Tac 4 arrived and began patient care and were subsequently transported to Paoli Memorial Hospital. Following the transport of the patients, the Malvern Fire units secured the hazards at the scene and assisted as needed with the investigation by the Willistown Police Department as well as the Willistown Codes Department. Once these tasks were completed, all units cleared at 3:41 PM.
